RACHAEL - Director & Lead Interior Architect

Rachael Pashley is the founder of Quay Studio and has over 15 years of experience in the industry with an extensive background in commercial design & build. Rachael moved from Sheffield in 2000 to study for a BA (HONS) Spatial Design: Interior & Landscape at Falmouth University and graduated in 2004.

In 2023, Rachael was certified as a registered Interior Designer with the British Institute for Interior Design (BIID). The institute is the UK’s only professional institute for interior designers, representing both commercial and residential sectors. Rachael is thrilled to be recognised for the work she has done over the last 19 years and for becoming a member of this organisation with the stamp of credibility it brings.

Rachael has been fortunate to carve a career in the South West, working for leading design companies. She has worked on many spatial planning, high-end residential and prestigious commercial projects including clients such as the Cornish Bakery, St Moritz and Zane Lowe, and numerous art Installations and award-winning interior products. Rachael is inspired by form and nature and enjoys creating user-led, considered, inspired spaces that provoke imagination, challenging conventional materials, and being conscious of their impact, Rachael spends time searching for the latest materials on the market that are sustainable with a proven circular product life cycle to achieve a creative yet sustainable design solution for her clients.

NICK - Architectural Technologist

Nick will guide any of our projects that require planning through the process smoothly with over 20 years experience, mostly here in the South West.

Nick has vast knowledge and understanding of the planning process through to building regs and often works on Historical or Grade 2 listed property extensions as well as signage applications.

CERI - Creative Director | Graphic Design

With over 15 years experience as an Illustrator, Graphic Designer and Animator, Ceri has created brands and graphic content for a wide range of clients locally, and nationally.

Working from the concept stage alongside the interior design development, Ceri can work his magic to create a brand identity for your company and then take it forward, branding the space, including signage, way-finding, etched vinyl graphics, and murals. With his animation background he can extend this to translating the brand for Social Media Advertising and Interactive Media.
