Quay Studio tailors our design packages to suit each project.  We understand that every project is different and we offer a free initial consultation to find out what level of service you will require.  Once this has been established we can provide a fee proposal detailing fixed prices for each stage.  Each stage is flexible depending on your needs and we work to your deadlines. Engaging us from the beginning of the process will ensure that your project remains a cohesive design both internally and externally and will ensure budgets are allocated effectively.

Stage 1

Brief
Once the proposal has been agreed we can formulate a clear brief through discussion. We understand every project is unique and we use our experience to quickly understand your values, objectives and to build confidence in our working relationship.

Stage 2

Concept / Design Direction
This is the creative stage. We begin by producing space plans, mood boards and exploring finishes. Once we have a feel for your preferred style we can begin working on the concept designs translating this into artist sketches and drawings to give you a feel for the design direction.

Stage 3

Technical Design
Once the final design concept has been agreed we will produce a technical drawing package to translate the detail design. This will be used by the chosen contractor to allow full cost specifications to be produced.

Stage 4

Implementation
We can place orders on your behalf or supply a list of trusted suppliers for you to work with directly. Through our relationships, we can usually provide stylish designer furniture at special rates (will share trade discounts) so you get access to the very best quality contemporary products.

Stage 5

Design Delivery
We will take the stress out of the final stage by overseeing the project. We will manage suppliers and contractors to make ensure the agreed concept is translated within the construction.
